Stake Sub-4-Santa Program Q&As

Welcome to the New York Stake Sub-4-Santa Website.

The Stake Singles are again sponsoring a Sub-4-Santa Program to assist members of our stake who are in need and to help ensure that their holidays are a little brighter this year.  And we have many, many members in our stake who are in need, so we really appreciate all your help and generosity this year.  We have tried to address all possible questions below, but if you need further assistance, please email nycstakesub4santa@gmail.com or speak with your ward's stake singles rep. 

***How can I contribute?***

There are two ways to contribute:

1. Purchase a Gift - Select a member (or members) from the list below and email nycstakesub4santa@gmail.com with your name, your ward, your phone number and the number of the member(s).  You will receive an email confirming your selection.  Or if you don't have a preference, just email nycstakesub4stanta@gmail.com with your contact info and we will respond with an assignment.
2. Donate Money - You can donate money until December 9 by using the Other Section of the tithing donation slip.  Just write Stake Sub 4 Santa on the line to identify it as part of the program.  The Stake Singles will then use your donation to purchase gifts for the members of our stake. 

***Where do I turn in the gifts I have purchased?***

There are two ways to donate your purchased gifts:

1. You can drop off your gift(s) on December 10 at the Lincoln Center Bldg (65th and Columbus) in the 3rd Floor Cultural Hall between 7 and 9 pm.
2. Coordinate with your ward's stake singles rep.  They should be coordinating a pick-up during your church meeting block on December 9.  If December 9th doesn't work for you, coordinate with them to make alternative arrangements. 

***What if there is no suggested gift listed by the name?***

Gift cards are always a good way to go.  Macy's, Visa, American Express, Best Buy, Toys-R-Us, Amazon, i-Tunes, H&M, etc.   Really, anywhere you like to shop.

***Do I need to wrap my gift?***

No.  The Stake Singles are having a wrapping party on December 10 at 7:30 to wrap and sort gifts.  So you don't have to wrap your gifts.  But you can if you want to.  Just remember to label the gift with the Member ID Number so we know who it belongs to.  (And it is also helpful to write what the gift is as well in case we have to make some last minute substitutions).
